Political Developments and Changes in Government Decisions Affected Family Businesses in the Middle East: AL-Ajami

(Family Businesses..Leading Change) workshop ,organized by Asharqia Chamber on Wednesday December 5, 2012, confirmed that changes in family businesses come from within the company and sometimes from outside
as a result of many challenges.
Executive Director and Founder of Tharawat Forum dr. Hisham Al-Ajmi reviewed the results of the survey conducted by the Forum (Challenges and Competition in Family Businesses under New Working Environment) stressing that each country has its own culture, thus they face different challenges and we cannot generalize family businesses rules.
He said that family businesses are affected by political and economic problems, adding that problems in the Middle East that directly affect family business are water and food problems, unemployment and inflation, as well as other political, social and economic problems.
